Extended Year: Summer Enrichment Program
During the summer months, many kids put their books away and spend their time outside. However, our students participate in a four-week summer program that is a blend of academic course work and a variety of enrichment activities and field trips.
The program is required of all students. Serviam Girls Academy teachers and staff, and other members of the school community staff the program. The Summer Enrichment Program keeps our students’ education at the forefront of all they do. Through this program our students engage in activities that sharpen their minds in an environment that is nurturing and positive.
Between 9 AM and noon, students will attend class, focusing on keys areas such as language arts and math. During the afternoon hours, the girls will play sports and participate in other enriching activities. The program will offer at least one field trip each week and a series of guest speakers. We see field trips as a way to engage parental involvement and build the community that is necessary to support our students.
