Staff

The students are taught by a combination of experienced master teachers and resident volunteers. Teachers cover advanced courses in the main subject areas and play a critical role in curriculum development and assessment of each student. The Resident Volunteer Teachers' responsibilities include assisting in the classrooms, supervising afterschool activities and managing the school's food program. Our teachers and interns work longer hours with challenging circumstances that are unique to at-risk, high poverty communities. However, they are filled with passion for taking such challenges and a vision of what each students could be with the right skills and resources.
