Do I have to be Catholic to attend?
Serviam Girls Academy (SGA) admits students of all faiths as well as students whose families do not participate in any organized religion.
Admissions
Admissions Criteria
To be considered for admission to Serviam Girls Academy, a girl must have successfully completed the 4th grade or 5th grade, be entering the 5th or 6th grade, and qualify for the federal free or reduced school lunch program.
Serviam evaluates prospective students based upon the following criteria:
- Competency as demonstrated by previous report cards
- A placement test
- An interview
- Letters of recommendation from the student’s former school
Girls admitted to Serviam must have a significant family member or guardian who lives with them who is committed to partner with the school community in the girl’s education. Each family pays a $200 yearly fee and must volunteer at the school for at least 15 hours per school year.
